## Synopsis
Chrome saves bookmarks in a JSON file. The following is the path to the file in macOS:
```
~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Profile 1/Bookmarks
```
I use the script [[ob-bookmarks]] to import Chrome bookmarks. It has following features:
- It supports my [[Add Tags and Descriptions to Chrome Bookmarks|Tags and Descriptions Convention]].
- If the first bookmark in a folder is the [[Bookmark a Bookmarks Folder in Chrome|Folder Bookmark]] to itself, it is used to customize the folder page in Obsidian. For example, I can tag a folder as private to exclude it from Obsidian Publish.
