## Lines
- CSI: decompose lines into C-curves, S-curves, and I-straights.
- We tend to make details too large. #caveat
- Light weight:
- Thick for important, near, dark lines
- Thin for trivial, far, light lines
## Shapes
- Emotional impact:
- Circle: soft
- Square: strong
- Triangle: aggressive like a dagger, dynamic
- High/wide rectangles
- Leave more spaces on the direction where the protagonist looks at.
## Perspective
- One-point perspective only works for objects facing you.
- Two-point perspective allows rotation around the y axis. The angle determines the position of diminishing points.
- Scale by portion for diminishing points far away.
- Three-point perspective is usually for looking up/down.
- Short axis of the oval align with the center.
- Curve for Gesture, Corner for Structure

## Edges
- Sharp, Firm, Soft, Lost

- Edges between light and shadow: Core Shadow, Cast Shadow
- Form Change, Local Color Change, Core Shadow, Cast Shadow
- Decide on edge types:
- Form Shadow: Smoothness of form change
- Cast Shadow:
- Light types: ambient or directional
- Distance with the object
